Job summary

Bosch is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for HV Battery Management Systems in the United States. You will own the HV BMS architecture, steer controllers, software interfaces, and safety mechanisms, and translate customer needs into robust system and software specifications.

You will lead the embedded control architecture (AUTOSAR), guide resource management, and ensure scalability and reuse across automotive and stationary applications, while aligning with ISO 26262 and cybersecurity standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or related Engineering field; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years in embedded control systems with HV BMS experience.
• Experience deploying HV BMS products across automotive, commercial, or BESS deployments.
• Strong knowledge of HV BMS architecture, SOC/SOH/SOP, and safety concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own and steer HV BMS architecture, including controllers, software, hardware interfaces, and safety mechanisms.
• Define embedded control architecture for BMS software (AUTOSAR) and guide software partitioning and diagnostics.
• Lead design reviews, customer workshops, and technical discussions with global teams.
• Drive safety and cybersecurity alignment with ISO 26262 and ISO/SAE 21434; support FMEA/FTA.
