Job summary

The role also involves developing SOPs, evaluating new technologies, and ensuring accessibility and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: Five (5) years of audio visual programming experience.
• Other: Additional work experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis up to four years.
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge of audio visual technology; room design and implementation best practices; strong oral and written communication; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for complex live and hybrid events, including video conferencing, recording, streaming, and sound reinforcement.
• Lead AV projects and coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and contractors; develop and maintain SOPs and support workflows.
• Evaluate, test, and recommend new AV technologies to enhance instructional delivery.
• Train and mentor AV team members and student workers on equipment use and troubleshooting.
• Set up procedures, maintain inventory of AV equipment, and ensure accessibility and policy compliance.
