Job summary

LCG, Inc. Career Center, based in Rockville, MD, seeks an AV Support Technician, Senior to oversee installation, configuration, operation, and troubleshooting of AV equipment for live events and meetings.

The role includes production editing, routine maintenance, and inventory tracking, coordinating with clients to ensure optimal AV functionality. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Multimedia or related field and at least 5 years of AV support experience with certifications in MS 365

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree Multimedia or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in AV technical support and supervision.
Certification (at least one certification in MS 365 Teams, Zoom, Network+, ITIL 4 or Security+).
Thorough knowledge of AV equipment including projectors, lighting, microphones, sound mixing, recording, and video-conferencing equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Resolve escalated issues and validate the work performed by the team.
Coordinate with clients to understand AV requirements.
Ensure proper placement and integration of AV equipment for optimal functionality.
Monitor live events and meetings to provide immediate technical support as needed.
Perform production editing for AV projects.
