Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an AV Engineer in New York City to design and deploy enterprise AV systems across offices and events. You will lead the full lifecycle from concept to commissioning, ensuring collaborative spaces enable world‑class productivity for research and operations.

You will partner with Security and IT to implement scalable AV standards, support large‑scope broadcasts, and enable seamless experiences from small meetings to company‑wide town halls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to AV/IT or equivalent
• 8+ years in designing enterprise AV systems
• Proficient in control system programming (Q‑Sys) and video conferencing platforms (Google Meet)

Responsibilities

• Lead AV design, procurement, and programming for new office builds, expansions, and retrofits
• Create and maintain AV system designs including schematic drawings and rack elevations
• Program and commission AV systems to meet user requirements
• Ensure day‑one readiness for new offices and events
• Develop automated solutions to improve reliability and reduce overhead
• Collaborate with Security and IT to meet enterprise security requirements
