Job summary

Insight Global seeks a highly skilled AV Engineering Manager to lead the design, engineering, and delivery of enterprise audiovisual solutions in the NYC metro. You will oversee AV Engineers, CAD Designers, and Programmers, acting as the technical authority for complex collaboration and conferencing projects.

The ideal candidate combines leadership with deep AV systems expertise, control systems, and AV-over-IP know-how, and partners with Sales, PM, and Operations to deliver on time and within

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial audiovisual (AV) systems integration or engineering experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing AV Engineers, Designers, or Technical Teams.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise AV technologies including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Collaboration, digital signage, and conference room solutions.
• Experience designing and reviewing AV system schematics, signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, and BOMs.
• Hands-on experience with control systems and DSP platforms such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, or Q-SYS.
• Solid understanding of AV-over-IP, networking fundamentals, and enterprise infrastructure environments.
• CTS-D certification or ability to obtain shortly after hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, engineering, and technical delivery of enterprise audiovisual solutions.
• Oversee a team of AV Engineers, CAD Designers, and Programmers.
• Serve as the technical authority for complex collaboration, conferencing, and workplace technology projects.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Operations, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
