Job summary

American Sound is seeking an AV Service Technician to join our Atlanta team. The role focuses on troubleshooting and recommissioning AV/UC systems across education and enterprise environments. You will load DSP files, support remote monitoring tools, and ensure client satisfaction through proactive service.

The position is on-site with day shifts, offering a competitive hourly pay and benefits. Training and a collaborative, customer-first culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise AV systems.
• Ability to read and interpret line drawings and schematics.
• Experience updating DSP and AV configuration files.
• CTS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Remounting monitors, speakers, and microphones
• Loading programming and DSP files to hardware and networked devices
• Assisting with setup and support of remote monitoring tools like Utelogy, XiO, and Reflect
• Ticket & RMA management
• Updating and providing feedback for as built drawings
• System recommissioning and end user training
• Some travel required depending on project and skillset
• Tools and van provided
