Job summary

Archetype Infrastructure Solutions in Atlanta is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to install, configure, test, and maintain AV systems in commercial and data center environments.

You will install displays, projectors, video conferencing gear, audio equipment, and control systems, read blueprints, perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and support commissioning while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience installing or supporting commercial AV or low-voltage systems.
• Basic understanding of AV tech, signal flow, and IP networking.
• Ability to read construction drawings and installation documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure AV equipment including displays, projectors, and video conferencing.
• Pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling.
• Read blueprints and installation drawings to guide work.
• Program equipment and perform firmware updates.
• Troubleshoot audio, video, network, and control systems.
• Coordinate with project teams to meet schedules.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and adhere to OSHA policies.
