Job summary

Pixel Technologies in Dayton, OH is seeking a Service & Support Specialist to repair, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems across government facilities, event venues, offices, and healthcare environments.

You will lead service calls, perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues onsite and remotely, and provide clear reports and customer education while collaborating with internal teams and executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in collaboration or Audio-Visual Integration.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Crestron Level II and Extron Certified AV Associate certifications required.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead service calls, health checks, and preventive maintenance visits with internal employees and external customers.
• Set up and operate A/V equipment for boardroom meetings, town halls, etc.
• Perform routine maintenance of AV equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues onsite and remotely.
• Think critically and creatively to find solutions.
• Provide technical assistance to clients and event organizers.
• Provide accurate and detailed reports in ticketing systems.
• Analyze and interpret system drawings.
• Perform hardware upgrades to all AV components.
• Configure and adjust DSPs including Biamp and QSC.
• Fine tune audio-video systems for optimal performance.
• Work with a remote system programmer to load and diagnose interfaces.
• Troubleshoot complex audio, video, and network related issues.
• Educate customers on installed equipment.
