Job summary

Encore in Dana Point, CA seeks a Rigging Technician to lead on-site rigging during hotel/convention center events. You will supervise the rigging crew, coordinate with clients, and ensure strict adherence to Encore SOPs for safety and quality.

Responsibilities include planning and executing rigging plots, inspecting gear, mentoring staff, and maintaining high safety standards on irregular hours and on-call schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year onsite rigging experience.
• Qualified-Basic Rigging certification.
• MEWP Certification required.
• ETCP Certification preferred.
• MEWP operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Advance, supervise, and execute event rigging plots as necessary.
• Gather and organize rigging tools and equipment per event needs.
• Coordinate and assign rigging related tasks to crew.
• Supervise crew building truss as needed.
• Inspect all rigging equipment and ensure safe operations.
