Job summary

Encore Global in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Rigging Technician to perform hands-on rigging and supervise crew during events, ensuring safety and compliance with Encore SOPs. You will act as the primary liaison with venue clients during load-ins/outs and manage coordination with hotel and event staff.

You will advance, supervise, and execute rigging plots, inspect equipment, and ensure all work adheres to safety standards and local conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of onsite rigging experience.
• Certification in rigging (Qualified-Basic Rigging, MEWP).
• ETCP certification preferred; MEWP operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Advance, supervise, and execute event rigging plots as necessary.
• Gather and organize all rigging tools and equipment per event needs.
• Coordinate and assign rigging related tasks to crew.
• Supervise crew building truss as needed.
• Inspect all rigging equipment prior to and following events.
