Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a skilled Rigging Technician to support hospitality and convention environments. You will assemble rigging gear, establish hang-points, connect hoists, and ensure safe operations across events.

Responsibilities include safety oversight, equipment inspection, and collaboration with the Rigging Coordinator to execute show plots while maintaining site safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 500+ hours of onsite rigging experience.
• Qualified-Basic Rigging certification.
• Lift Certification.
• Lift operation experience.
• Ground Rigging experience.
• High rigging with harness experience.
• Previous experience supervising a rigging team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather and organize all rigging tools and equipment per event needs.
• Establish hang-points, connect hoists and attachments to rigging points.
• Inspect cabling, bolts and flown equipment for safety.
• Provide ground rigging support and assist other trades as needed.
• Review advanced rigging plans with Rigging Coordinator or Lead Rigger.
• Maintain ongoing visual inspection of hardware and report issues.
