Job summary

Encore in Las Vegas seeks a skilled Rigging Technician to perform critical rigging tasks in a hotel/convention center setting. You will organize gear, assist with lift operations, and ensure safety standards across all rigging activities.

Qualifications include 500+ hours onsite rigging, basic rigging certification, and lift certifications. Experience supervising a rigging team is preferred; ability to work at height and with harnesses is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 500+ hours of onsite rigging experience required.
• Qualified-Basic Rigging certification is required.
• Lift Certification and lift operation experience are required.
• Ground rigging experience and harness work at height experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather and organize all rigging tools and equipment per event needs.
• Confirm carpet protection as required by local conditions.
• Provide ground rigging support to teams building points from lifts; stage motors and equipment.
• Establish hang-points, connect hoist and attachments to permanent rigging points, and ensure safety of all elements.
