Job summary

Encore is seeking an Associate Rigger to perform rigging tasks in a hospitality or convention center setting, upholding safety and quality standards. The role reports to the Rigging Manager and requires meticulous tool handling and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include organizing rigging gear, supporting lift operations, and ensuring safety checks are completed. Candidates should be comfortable working at heights and able to follow Encore rigging SOPs.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year exposure to rigging and technical production.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Rigging 300 (1-day in-person class).
• Lift certification required.
• Ability to work safely at heights above 15 ft.

Responsibilities

• Gather and organize rigging tools and equipment per event needs.
• Provide ground rigging support, stage motors, and equipment for lifts.
• Establish hang-points, connect hoists and attachments to rigging points.
• Inspect cabling, keep truss protection equipment in good condition.
• Perform final safety checks and report issues to supervisor.
