Job summary

Encore in Las Vegas is seeking a hands-on Rigging Lead to perform and supervise rigging during events in a hotel/convention center environment. You will manage rigging plots, coordinate crew tasks, and ensure safety and quality in all rigging operations for client show load-ins and load-outs.

The role requires a minimum of 1+ year onsite rigging experience, basic rigging certification, MEWP and ETCP certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of onsite rigging experience.
• Qualified-Basic Rigging certification.
• MEWP Certification.
• ETCP Certification is preferred.
• MEWP operation experience; ground rigging experience.

Responsibilities

• Advance, supervise, and execute event rigging plots as necessary.
• Coordinate and assign rigging related tasks to crew.
• Supervise crew building truss as needed.
• Inspect rigging equipment prior to and following events.
• Maintain safety and compliance with Encore SOPs and local conditions.
