Job summary

B'nai Jeshurun NYC seeks an AV & IT Infrastructure Specialist to lead the on-site technical backbone for our broadcast environments and core network across our historic Upper West Side campus. This role collaborates with the Livestream Producer & A/V Manager and our IT service provider, focusing on production, campus network infrastructure, and cybersecurity rather than routine staff IT support.

The position offers a non-traditional schedule with on-site presence for Shabbat and major Jewish

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-5+ years in live A/V and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Degree or certifications such as CCNA or CTS are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewall configurations, and encryption.

Responsibilities

• Configure, optimize, and operate BJ's multi-site livestream systems and high-end broadcast equipment (NewTek Tricaster, OBS) in main Sanctuary and Community House.
• Set up, break down, and provide A/V support for live events and hybrid meetings, including lighting and basic live audio mixing.
• Oversee integration of BJ's digital lighting system and multi-channel audio environments.
• Provide technical execution and troubleshooting for services and large community events.
