UJA-Federation of New York is seeking an experienced, hands-on Audio Visual Technician to support conference centers, meeting rooms, executive events, and special programs. This role delivers exceptional service to internal and external clients, including senior executives and VIP guests.
The second-shift position runs 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM with occasional longer hours or Sunday shifts to meet event needs. Strong AV skills and customer service are essential in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Audio Visual Technician to provide day-to-day audiovisual support for our conference centers, meeting rooms, executive events, and special programs. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional service to internal and external clients, including senior executives, board members, and VIP guests. This is fundamentally a hands-on technical position, and success in this role requires strong AV technical skills paired with outstanding customer service, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm and responsive in high-profile environments.
The role is a second-shift position with standard hours of 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Flexibility is essential to this role: the technician must be able to occasionally shift hours to stay later, work mornings, and work an occasional Sunday as business and event needs dictate. Reliability and punctuality are essential.
Reports To: Manager, AV
Salary Range: $66,500 - $73,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications listed above.
