The University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson is seeking a Media Tech Specialist IV to manage audiovisual equipment, support events, and assist with general IT needs across multiple student-focused departments. This role supervises a small team of student employees who support AV operations.

The position serves as an AV/IT hybrid, imaging systems, deploying software, creating documentation, and testing computer systems and programs, with on-campus requirements and potential hybrid schedule

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Three years experience in media technology service or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of AV equipment and ability to train others.

Responsabilités

• Procure, manage, and maintain Division of Student Affairs AV equipment and programs.
• Lead a select group of student employees for AV support.
• Lead AV technician for large campus events (banquets, galas, conferences, lectures).
• Provide IT support to the Manager of IT on an as-needed basis.
• Support division staff with software, hardware, printers and peripherals.
