Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Installation Technician 3 to lead installation crews on complex projects, perform cable pulls and terminations, and coordinate with Project Managers to ensure on-time delivery. The role requires strong leadership, interpretative skills for schematics, and hands-on expertise with AV systems.

You will mentor Level 1 and Level 2 technicians, work across client sites, and travel as needed to support AVI-SPL projects, maintaining safety, quality, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Minimum 4–6 years in audiovisual, electronics or related installation experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
AVIXA CTS General Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct installation crews on larger, more complex projects.
Read and interpret electronic schematics and blueprints.
Perform installation tasks including cable pulls, terminations, and rack fabrication.
Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery.
Mentor junior technicians and ensure quality of work on site.
Travel to various job sites as required.
