Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AV installation, commissioning, and service.
• AVIXA CTS/CTS-I and CQT preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx as conferencing platforms.
• Good working knowledge of Crestron, BIAMP, Extron and QSC.
• Experience with AV industry software platforms; direct programming a plus.
• Strong networking skills; related certifications/training are a plus.
• Experience with commercial AV installations including projectors, displays, cables, and rack wiring.
• Proficient with hand tools and aerial lifts; soldering skills required.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned configuration tasks within deadlines in lab and field.
• Rack fabrication of AV systems in the configuration lab.
• Verify system integration wiring connectivity and terminations in lab.
• Analyze and resolve configuration issues promptly.
• Support loading, testing, and documenting results of pre-built control programs, touch panels, and DSP builds.
• Configure major brands of collaborative solutions (Neat, Logitech, Polycom, Cisco).
• Verify field wiring connectivity and terminations during installation.
• Complete final product configuration, testing and commissioning using Field Commissioning Reports.
• Provide end-user training on software applications and interfaces.
• Configure manufacturer applications and products per system/client requirements.
• Assist in system solution analysis, design, development, and testing.
• Develop and maintain configuration policies and procedures.
• Review and suggest changes to existing configuration processes.
• Provide technical guidance to junior specialists.
