Job summary

TRITECH Communications seeks an AV Field Engineer to install, Commission, and support advanced audio-visual systems. You will program DSPs, configure AMX/Biamp/Crestron/Cisco/Polycom gear, and train customers while driving project deliverables from installation to final inspection.

You must solve complex issues independently, communicate clearly with clients and colleagues, and travel to customer sites and our facilities for training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Engineering Degree or 3-6 years of Professional Audio-Visual field engineering experience with deep knowledge of AV systems and DSP architecture.
• Must be able to interface independently with customers, system engineers and design consultants.
• Hold ICIA CTS certification or higher.
• Hold technical certifications from Crestron, Extron, ClearOne, AMX, etc.

Responsibilities

• Write and modify DSP files and coordinate DSP control with the system programmer.
• Configure complex systems such as AMX, Biamp, Cisco, Crestron, Polycom, matrix mixers, switchers and codecs.
• Configure IP addressable devices such as routers, switches and servers.
• Independently drive project deliverables from installation through commissioning to final inspection.
• Load, test and troubleshoot all control code.
• Train customers in all aspects of system functionality.
