Job summary

Diversified is seeking a Senior Field Engineer to commission complex audiovisual and control systems in the field across New England. You will test, tune, and verify that every component operates as designed, and travel to customer sites to install, configure, and bring systems to life in accordance with the project design intent.

You will mentor other field engineers, collaborate with system programmers to load new code and troubleshoot remotely, and communicate clearly with project teams.

Qualifications

• Five or more years directly related experience as an FE.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Field installation and/or system design experience.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence.
• Familiar with audio, video and network-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Commission systems in the field and optimize all equipment settings to meet design intent.
• Coordinate with system programmers to load new code and troubleshoot remotely.
• Lead small project teams on large deployments as required.
• Provide remote assistance and mentoring to other FE’s.
