Job summary

Solotech is seeking a Field Engineer to lead final testing, commissioning, and integration of complex AVL systems at client sites to ensure peak performance per design intent.

You will interpret schematics, coordinate with project teams, and troubleshoot AMX/Crestron/Extron/Q-Sys while writing DSP updates. A five-year AV background and CTS/CQT certifications are preferred; strong networking and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of AV Installation, Commissioning and Service experience.
• CTS/CTS-I and CQT certifications preferred.
• Proficient with AV industry software platforms and IP networking.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
• Test point-to-point functionality of systems.
• Review SOW to ensure installation quality and completeness.
• Test integrated systems and troubleshoot AMX/Crestron/Extron and DSP systems.
• Configure AV network and client network coordination.
• Field installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron/Extron/Q-Sys) and DSP writing.
• Provide client training and final job documentation as needed.
• Act as a customer liaison in absence of Project Manager.
