Job summary

Diversified is seeking a Senior Field Engineer to commission complex AV/media systems at customer sites across New England. You will ensure installations meet design intent, optimize equipment, and collaborate with programmers to load new code.

You’ll mentor other field engineers and provide remote support as needed. The role requires frequent travel, strong English communication, and extensive hands-on experience with AV/IT systems.

Qualifications

• Five or more years directly related FE experience.
• Excellent Verbal and Written English Skills and customer service.
• Field installation and/or system design experience.
• Valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• Familiar with audio, video and network-based systems and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Commission systems in the field and optimize all equipment settings.
• Coordinate with system programmers to ensure control systems function properly.
• Lead a team on large projects when required.
• Provide simple code updates under programmer direction.
• Stay current on technology, firmware updates, and common field issues.
• Mentor other FE’s and provide remote assistance.
