Job summary

Creighton University is seeking an Assistant Director of Event Operations & Technology to lead the Conference and Event Services team and support Student Center operations. You will be the AV/Technology expert for campus event spaces and planners, collaborating on event logistics, setup/teardown, and turnovers.

You will supervise two operations staff and student staff, assist with budget management and equipment purchases, and oversee the department's technology platforms and communications.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Communications or related field.
• Two years of related experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with AV/Technology for events is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Conference and Event Services team.
• Support Student Center Operations and Student Life initiatives.
• Serve as the expert for AV/Technology in campus event spaces.
• Collaborate with staff on event logistics, setup/teardown, and turnovers.
• Manage department technology platforms and communications.
• Supervise two professional staff and student workers.
