Job summary

Belmont University seeks an Event Operations Technician to support the Strategic Venues & Event Svcs department and help convert campus event spaces for events. The role includes on-site AV support, coordination of setup/tear-down, and ensuring successful event execution across campus venues.

Able to oversee student and vendor labor, manage inventory, and assist with general upkeep of storage and spaces. Requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years AV equipment experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of previous experience in facility setup operations, including working with audio visual equipment.
• Experience in coordinating event spaces and assisting with on-site technical needs.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and facilitate setup, support, and tear-down of equipment and securing spaces.
• Oversee student and vendor labor crews and train them as needed.
• Serve as on-site event contact and support technician for event services.
