Qualifications

• 7+ years of robotics or autonomous systems software across perception to planning.
• 3+ years leading evaluation of complex dynamic systems using numerical/ML approaches.
• Production Python in large teams; strong C++ autonomy codebase experience.
• Cross-team technical leadership and strategy influence.
• Degree in CS, Robotics, Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, ML or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy and architecture for metrics and analyses to evaluate AV software performance.
• Lead cross-functional efforts with autonomy, systems, simulation, and data teams.
• Invent ML methods and introspection to quantify performance and detect regressions.
• Own AV evaluation metrics and present results to stakeholders with dashboards.
