Job summary

General Motors is seeking an experienced AV Metrics Engineer to define the strategy and architecture for evaluating autonomous driving software performance across the autonomy stack. You will lead cross-functional efforts with autonomy, systems engineering, simulation, and data teams to embed evaluation into development workflows and release decisions.

You will invent and drive ML methods to quantify performance, detect regressions, and reveal patterns of system behavior at scale, owning AV KPIs

Qualifications

• 7+ years of applied robotics or autonomous systems software experience.
• 3+ years leading evaluation of complex dynamic systems with ML on large time-series data.
• Strong Python production experience; able to work with large C++ codebases.
• PhD/Masters/Bachelors in CS/Robotics/Engineering/ML or related field.
