Job summary

Diversified seeks a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design and development of complex Audio-Visual (AV) systems, ensuring client requirements, standards, and project goals are met. You will provide advanced engineering expertise, oversee design quality, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with clients, sales, architects, and project managers to deliver scalable AV solutions.

Responsibilities include system architecture, signal flow, BOM validation, and QA/QC across deliverables.

Qualifications

Advanced AV knowledge and system integration expertise.
Experience with MS Teams Rooms/Zoom Rooms or similar platforms.
Familiarity with AV control systems and equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex AV challenges.
Detail-oriented with emphasis on design accuracy and quality.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to lead multiple projects and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Lead design of complex AV systems including signal flow and networked solutions.
Develop and review technical docs (schematics, rack elevations, floor plans) using AutoCAD/Revit.
Validate and approve BOMs for accuracy and cost alignment.
Collaborate with clients, sales, architects and PMs to define system requirements.
Conduct design reviews and enforce QA/QC across deliverables.
Provide technical leadership during installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
Identify risks and mitigation strategies for system performance and integration.
Mentor and guide Associate and Design Engineers.
