Job summary

M.C. Dean in Tysons, VA, seeks an AV Program Engineer 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit. You will design, engineer, integrate, operate and maintain AV systems for federal, local and commercial customers, including video conferencing and AV-over-IP solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 5+ years of experience (or a Master's with 3+ years), Crestron/Teams expertise, and the ability to travel up to 50% with TS/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering with several years of relevant experience.
• Certifications in Crestron, Biamp and/or QSC required; Extron desired.
• Experience programming Crestron and configuring AV systems.
• Experience with Teams/Cisco WebEx and AV-over-IP.
• Proficient in C# .NET and related protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy software for Audio/Visual control systems.
• Create configuration frameworks for large, resilient systems.
• Commission AV systems including calibration and network configuration.
• Conduct peer reviews and provide design feedback.
• Develop post-installation docs for Operations and Maintenance.
• Deliver on-site user and admin training.
• Set goals and plans to prioritize and complete work.
• Track source code status for project managers and clients.
