Job summary

Scientific Systems seeks a Senior Software Engineer II to advance AI/Autonomy systems through modeling, simulation, and testing of multi-vehicle autonomous platforms. You will build and maintain advanced M&S infrastructure and contribute to scalable evaluation across domains.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in engineering/computer science, strong C++/Python skills, and experience with MIL/SIL, digital twins, and autonomous robotics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/computer science or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with MIL/SIL/digital twin and LVC testing.
• Proficient in C/C++, Python and HPC environments for large-scale simulation.
• Experience with robotics, ML, or multi-agent autonomy systems.
• Familiar with Agile, git/GitHub/GitLab, Confluence/Jira, CI/CD and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced M&S infrastructure and support testing of autonomous, multi-vehicle systems.
• Design, implement, simulate and test autonomy software for uncrewed, multi-vehicle systems.
• Present technical information to customers and stakeholders.
• May travel up to 10%.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a United States Secret Security Clearance.
