Job summary
Scientific Systems Company, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop autonomous flight systems and collaboration between crewed and uncrewed platforms. You will architect and implement multi-vehicle autonomy software for challenging environments using C/C++ and Python, with emphasis on maintainable production-quality code.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related STEM field.
- 5+ years of software development/R&D in AI for robotics.
- Modular, production-quality autonomy software experience.
- C/C++, Python experience; memory-safe languages desirable.
- Familiarity with modern dev tool chains (Agile, Git, Jira/Confluence, CI/CD, SonarQube).
- Desirable: DoD or robotics/datalink standards familiarity.
- Desirable: AI navigation and planning algorithms knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop advanced software for multi-vehicle autonomy in complex environments.
- Provide technical expertise within a team to design and test autonomy software for embedded uncrewed systems.
- Support presentation of technical results to customers.
