Torc Robotics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and advance the Autonomy Core Frameworks that underpin our autonomous driving stack.

You will own technical direction for core autonomy components, raise code quality, and drive platform-wide improvements in reliability and scalability. Collaborate with Behavior and Perception teams, mentor engineers, establish standards, design real-time C++ components, and evolve simulation/validation frameworks to enable safe, performant

Qualifications

• Proven design and evolution of production software platforms with architectural ownership.
• Strong background in C++17 and modern C++ standards.
• Experience with distributed systems and robotics middleware.
• Exposure to safety-critical or high-assurance software practices is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead architectural reviews and drive code quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and evolution of core autonomy frameworks.
• Define real-time C++ components and patterns for reliable data flow.
• Collaborate with Behavior and Perception teams to maintain clean boundaries.
• Mentor engineers and set engineering standards across teams.
• Develop testing, observability, and production-readiness practices.
