Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and mentor a team to improve customer care. The role offers a Sign On Bonus of $3,000 and an hourly Pay Range of $19.57–$30.85, with a flat-rate compensation model based on tasks completed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering or suspension work preferred.
• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers.
• Awareness of ASE certification process and ongoing training requirements.
• Reading, writing and math skills required for service documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers or non-mechanical staff.
• Stay current with automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications in at least three A1–A8 within two years; tests and fees covered by the company.
