Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward increased customer care and satisfaction. The pay range is $18.54 - $30.76 per hour, with a performance-based flat-rate model rewarding tasks completed efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license at all times.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Aim to obtain ASE certifications within two years; tests paid by the company; bonus for each passed.
