Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team to improve customer care and satisfaction. A sign-on bonus of $2,000–$3,000 is offered.

Pay ranges from $19.57 to $31.12 per hour. BSRO uses flat-rate compensation; earnings vary with tasks completed and experience, within the region. Minimum wage rules are observed and respected.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical systems, suspension and alignment, A/C and computers.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; fees paid by company; bonuses for tests passed.
