Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Plano, TX is seeking an Automotive Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring teammates. The role uses a flat-rate pay model with performance-based rewards and regional productivity benchmarks.

You will diagnose and repair to specifications, stay current with automotive tech through paid training, and assist and train others. A.S.E. certifications within two years are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
