Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward improved customer care. The role emphasizes technical mastery and mentoring within a high-volume auto service environment.

Candidates should have 3 years of automotive repair experience or a Vocational-Technical School background, with ASE certification in at least one A1-A8, and a valid driver's license to operate customer and company vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• A.S.E. certification in at least one of A1-A8 (L1 acceptable).
• 3 years of automotive repair experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
