Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward higher customer care.

You will diagnose, repair, and explain repairs clearly, and stay current with evolving automotive technology through paid training. Minimum qualifications include a valid driver's license, strong brakes/hydraulics or steering/suspension skills, and ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake & hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment.
