Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician in the United States, with a focus on drivability and electrical systems. You will lead a team toward high customer care, diagnose issues, repair to specifications, and train other technicians.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, proficiency in brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension, and electrical systems. ASE certs and ongoing paid training are provided, with a comprehensive benefits package for teammates.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in brakes and hydraulics and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• ASE certifications welcome; ongoing training and certifications funded by the company.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, and A/C.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years (fees covered).
