Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team to improve customer care and satisfaction.

You will diagnose complex vehicle systems, mentor peers, and participate in ongoing training to stay at the forefront of automotive technology. A strong focus on safety, quality, and efficient service is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in brakes/hydraulics or steering & suspension.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanics.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years of employment.
