Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team to improve customer care and satisfaction. The role emphasizes leadership, hands-on diagnostics, and continuous training.

You will perform brake, hydraulic, electrical, suspension, and A/C diagnostics, and pursue ASE certifications within two years, with company support for tests and fees. Competitive, performance-based compensation applies.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
