Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward higher customer care. The position offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a pay range of $21.00–$36.62 per hour in a flat-rate environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C systems, while communicating with non-technical customers and mentoring junior techs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes, hydraulics, steering and suspension systems.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications: brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) with company support.
