Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician in Omaha to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead a team, and mentor peers. The role emphasizes customer care and satisfaction, with a performance-based pay model and a $2,000 sign-on for first-time hires.

Expect to maintain ASE certifications, pursue ongoing training, and work within a flexible, growth-oriented environment. The pay range reflects regional rates and is supplemented by a flat-rate system.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Skilled in brakes/hydraulics or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Experience with tire repair and general automotive maintenance.
• Current federal, state and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Able to explain technical info to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, suspension/alignments, A/C and electrical).
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to non-mechanics.
• Pursue continuous formal training through paid programs.
• Assist and train other technicians.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests paid by company; bonus per test.
