Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward quality service. Flat-rate pay is used, with compensation reflecting regional work and experience.

The role requires ASE certification pursuit and training, driving responsibilities, and a commitment to customer care. Bridgestone offers competitive pay and a path to growth within a large automotive network.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension and alignments.
• Skilled in automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical customers.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, suspension and A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; company may cover fees and bonus for tests.
