Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and to lead a team toward enhanced customer care and satisfaction. The role offers competitive pay with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for new hires and regionally adjusted task-based rates.

Responsibilities include repairs across brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, suspension, and electronics, with ongoing training and ASE certification opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license.
• Skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair experience.
• Current federal, state and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C, and computer systems).
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Aim to obtain/maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests paid by company; bonuses for tests passed.
