Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Omaha, NE is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership to drive a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

You will stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training, mentor technicians, and pursue ASE certifications. The position offers flat-rate pay and a pay range of $19.57–$31.62 per hour, with company benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver''s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering and suspension, and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brake hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C, and computer systems).
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications within first two years (fees paid by company; bonus per test).
