Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Texas seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring teammates to boost customer care and satisfaction. You will work on brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, suspension, A/C and computer systems with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Proficient in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within first two years of employment; tests/fees paid by the company.
