Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Lincoln, NE, is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while using leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

You will work under a flat-rate pay model with a $3,000 sign-on bonus for current State Inspection certifications. The role emphasizes ongoing training, ASE certifications, and delivering quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience diagnosing brakes, hydraulics, steering or suspension.
• Strong general automotive maintenance and tire repair skills.
• Current federal, state and local certifications where applicable.
• Able to explain technical info to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, exhaust, fuel, electrical, suspension, and AC.
• Explain repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive tech via training.
• Assist and train technicians and apprentices.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years; tests paid by company.
• Prefer state inspection license.
