Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and mentor a shop team. The role uses a flat-rate pay model with performance-based incentives, rewarding expertise and efficiency in completing tasks.

Based in the U.S., the Senior Technician contributes to high-quality repairs, customer satisfaction, and ongoing professional development. The employer supports ASE certifications and continuous formal training.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license at all times.
• Experience with brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Current federal, state and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, and A/C.
• Explain technical diagnoses and repairs to non-mechanical personnel.
• Stay current with automotive technology through regular paid training.
• Assist and train technicians/maintenance staff in technical tasks.
• Earn ASE certifications within the first two years of employment (tests paid by the company).
