Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while guiding a team toward excellent customer care and satisfaction.

The role emphasizes hands-on repair, ongoing training, and opportunities to obtain ASE certifications. Bridgestone provides a competitive, performance-based pay model and comprehensive benefits including health, vacation, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license.
• Skilled in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• ASE certification (A1–A8) preferred; L1 acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake, hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanics.
• Stay current with automotive tech through ongoing training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years of employment.
